Climb aboard the “Sutter,” an authentic river barge, to an indoor dinner served by members of this friendly yacht club. The vessel, located in the heart of the California Delta on Bethel Island’s Dutch Slough, has a colorful past - as a freighter - then as Moore’s Riverboat. She was purchased and restored by SJYC’s clubhouse volunteers in 1994.
By Car: drive to Bethel Island, cross Bethel Bridge, turn RIGHT at Riverview Place. By Boat: cruise to Dutch Slough just south of the Bethel Island Bridge.
COST: $25.00 pp includes tax and tip
MENU: Salad; Pulled Pork Sandwiches; Potato Salad; Macaroni Salad; Dessert
Upon arrival, check-in with volunteer Carol Reynolds.
100 Discovery Yacht Club members will be registered. If we fill-up, a waitlist will be available. Non-member guests may be registered on June 2 if room is available.
Absolutely NO WALK-INS.
DOCKING: Dock space will be limited. If you are able, include an extra passenger or two (or 5 or 6).
Not sure of the way? Follow Mark Hines/Anna Baaten, our lead boat volunteers, to and home. Meet at the lighthouse to leave promptly at 4:00 pm. Sunset - 8:28 pm.
